A few things to know.

Prayer Latch is provided by Janus Works LLC. Effective October 21, 2026.

Free use and Plus

New installs get a free week of Prayer Latch Plus with no card and no store purchase. Nothing is charged when it ends and nothing needs canceling. After the free week, locking apps requires an active Prayer Latch Plus subscription; without it, your apps are not locked and your selections stay saved. Bible reading, prayers, the journal, Latch progression and emergency unlock remain free.

Plus is an optional monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play on Android or the App Store on iOS. The price and full billing period are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the store where you subscribed. On iOS, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid another charge. If you cancel, your access continues until the paid period ends. After that, your apps are no longer locked and your selections stay saved. Use Restore purchases with the store account that purchased the subscription. Refunds follow your store’s applicable policies. Apple’s standard end user license agreement also applies to the iOS app. The free week is a promotional period from us, not a store subscription trial.

Your choices

App protection needs the Android permissions or iOS Screen Time authorization described before setup. You can disable protection or use emergency unlock. Prayer Latch is a habit tool and cannot guarantee that distractions are prevented. Keep access to essential communications and do not rely on the app for emergencies.

Prayer content

Prayer content, including AI-generated prayers, is devotional information, not medical, legal or other professional advice. AI can make mistakes. Scripture editions have their own attribution and license notices in the app.
